Leveraging Data to Foster a Culture of Integrity and Improve Learning Outcomes

Concurrent Session 4

Brief Abstract

According to a McKinsey & Company article, “Leaders in most higher education institutions generally understand that using advanced analytics can significantly transform the way they work by enabling new ways to engage current and prospective students, increase student enrollment, improve student retention and completion rates, and even boost faculty productivity and research.” While the data may be available, higher education leaders are asking themselves: how do we leverage this wealth of analytics efficiently and effectively to impact student success and inspire meaningful change?

Join Jordan Adair, Honorlock’s VP of Product, as he delves into Honorlock’s Analytics Hub TM and shows how the data found within can directly impact the teaching and learning experience. Learn about the benefits of using analytics to address gaps in the learning environment, deliver a healthier academic environment, consistent student outcomes, and fewer headaches for faculty.

As you walk away from our session we hope you learn:
● Tips to interpret analytics to develop impactful policies and procedures to improve academic integrity
● How to use data to ensure effective technology adoption
● How students benefit from a data-informed academic leader

As an audience member, you will participate in a short facilitated group discussion. We will pose questions: How are you currently leveraging analytics to improve student learning outcomes? What challenges are you facing in interpreting data into actionable change? We will also have periodic polls throughout the session to better understand the challenges your institution is facing in using analytics to address gaps in the learning environment.
