The Engagement Block Party is structured around participants' needs and aspirations with digital learning explorations, technology innovation and creative expressions. Let our engagement team members guide you through a series of engagement opportunities that can ignite your ideas, recharge your batteries or give you a cool new set of strategies for your faculty development, student engagement or networking processes. Choose your own adventure based on what interests you most, slow down a while, and let our expert volunteers guide your journey through cool improvements and innovations for your work.

Presenters

Lead Presenter: Drew Santorello, The George Washington University

Drew is the Senior Multimedia Producer at the George Washington University's College of Professional Studies and works directly with faculty and a team of instructional designers to design and develop multimedia for online instruction. Drew has spent much time in the video production realm and earned a Master of Fine Arts in Television Production in 2012. Since 2014 Drew has been using his video production knowledge in the higher education sphere. In 2020 Drew also earned a Master of Education in Educational Technology Leadership from GW. Work-life aside, Drew is a New York native living in Frederick, MD with his wife and 2 small children.

Join the OLC Engagement Team for this exciting event that combines digital learning explorations, technology innovation, and creative expression. Discover new ed tech with the Technology Test Kitchen and hear from attendees new during the Variety Show. Create unique artwork, compete with other attendees in a series of games, snap some photos at our OLC photobooth, and enjoy a virtual art exhibit scavenger hunt.
