LMS Unleashed: Enhancing Faculty Development, Quality Standards and Project Management
Brief Abstract
With audience input, this session will showcase how our Instructional Design Team utilizes our LMS (D2L) beyond the classroom. From facilitating our grant program, to coordinating international TA testing, to providing Faculty with instructional resources. We've developed innovative ways to maximize our LMS and are eager to share our ideas.
Presenters
Leticia Velasquez is an Instructional Designer with the Center for Teaching Excellence at Southern Illinois University - Carbondale. While relatively new to instructional design, Leticia utilizes her past experiences as a teacher, a corporate trainer, and an online learner to support faculty, graduate teaching assistants, and academic-oriented units with various course development services. Leticia's focus is to ensure that every learning experience meets SIU's quality standards while incorporating UDL and DEI principles.
