The Quality Course Teaching and Instructional Practice (QCTIP) is a comprehensive scorecard which can be used for an in-depth review to validate instructional practices as compared to quality standards identified by our panel of experts.  

Designed to evaluate the overall classroom experience, this tool can be used to evaluate teaching effectiveness in several areas, including: Course Fundamentals, Learning Foundations, Faculty Engagement and Student Engagement.

Here’s how it works:

  • OLC’s experts work with your university to complete the initial review using the OLC QCTIP Scorecard
  • Your Institution identifies action items for continuous improvement based on the result
  • Your university can earn an OLC Endorsement to validate the quality of your online or blended course(s)

These results provide key information that allows for targeted improvements, thus improving the quality and efficacy of your online or blended courses.
